LEON JAMES.

I traversed 5,000 kilometres across Namibia in search of unique landscapes and diversified personalities. The desert in its solitude has a rare energy. The mind wanders when you are alone under the moon, hundreds of miles from any form of civilisation. The nocturnal soil resonates at dusk and creatures of every shape and form hunt and gather.

The ‘Forgotten’ series explores an abstract perspective of a tried genocide of the early 19th century in Namibia, formerly known as German South West Africa, where as many as 100,000 people of the Herero and Namaqua tribes were murdered.
